Refund Policy

This Refund Policy applies to all paid subscriptions on busi.au, operated at busi.au. We aim to be fair and transparent in all billing matters.
1. Australian Consumer Law
Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the service remedied if it fails to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
2. Free Tier
Our free tier is provided at no cost. No refunds apply as no payment is made.
3. Paid Subscriptions
Cancellation
You can cancel your subscription at any time. When you cancel:
- Your site remains active until the end of the current billing period
- No further charges will be made after cancellation
- After the billing period ends, your site will be suspended
Refund eligibility
We will provide a full refund if:
- Service not delivered: we are unable to generate or host your website within a reasonable timeframe
- Major failure: the service has a major problem that cannot be fixed, is substantially unfit for its purpose, or does not match what was described
- Billing error: you were charged incorrectly or charged after cancelling
Pro-rata refunds
If you experience a significant service disruption during your billing period, we may offer a pro-rata refund or credit for the affected period at our discretion.
When refunds do not apply
Refunds are generally not available when:
- You simply change your mind about using the service (unless within the first 7 days of your initial subscription)
- Your site was suspended due to a breach of our Terms of Service
- You are dissatisfied with features that were not promised or included in your plan
4. 7-Day Satisfaction Guarantee
If you are not satisfied with our service within the first 7 days of your initial paid subscription, contact us for a full refund — no questions asked. This is in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
5. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, contact us at hello@busi.au with:
- Your account email address
- The reason for your refund request
- Any relevant details or screenshots
We will review your request and respond within 5 business days. Approved refunds are processed back to your original payment method via Stripe and typically appear within 5–10 business days.
